Fragrant Chicken Claypot Rice (using rice cooker) (Serves 2-3)

280 gChicken Breast (cut into cubes, approx 3cm x 3cm)

1 tspLight Soya Sauce

6 gCorn Flour

400 gRice (we recommend Jasmine rice)

12 gSalted Fish (strips, deep fried)

1 packPrima Taste Fragrant Hainanese Chicken Rice Paste

48 gGinger (slices)

5 pcsDried Mushroom (soaked, cut into halves)

20 gChinese Sausage (sliced)

32 gSpring Onion (strips, approx 5 cm length)

2 tspSuperior Dark Soya Sauce

Steps
- 1. Marinate chicken with salt, sugar, light soya sauce and corn flour for 10 mins. Fry chicken in hot oil for a few seconds, do not over-cook the chicken.
- 2. Wash and soak the rice in water for 30 mins, drain well before cooking.
- 3. Using a rice cooker, add water, Prima Taste Fragrant Hainanese Chicken Rice Paste, salted fish, ginger and 3 pcs of mushrooms. Bring to a boil and add rice, cooking till the water thickens and is almost dried up. Stir well.
- 4. Add Chinese sausage, chicken, remaining mushrooms and spring onion (white portion) and continue to cook.
- 5. When cooked, drizzle shallot oil and superior dark soya sauce over the chicken. Add spring onion (green portion), fluff rice with chopsticks and serve.
