Steps
- Preparation: Rinse fresh mutton ribs with tap water and soak for 20 mins.
- 1. In a pot, bring 3ℓ of water to a boil. Add soaked mutton ribs, bring to a boil on high heat for 1 min, and remove meat scum.
- 2. Add garlic cloves, Meat Bone Soup Stock Mix and Meat Bone Soup Premix (both filter bags) and bring to boil. Boil for 90 mins or till desired texture. Remove garlic cloves at the 40th min and set aside (for step 3). (Note: You may skim off excess fat from time to time)
- 3. Ready to serve.
- Note: You may get approx. 1.1ℓ to 1.2ℓ of soup, adjust the taste to desired preference. Cooking time may vary for desired texture and power of stove fire.
- Chef’s Tips: - For clearer soup, you may remove fat from the soup by passing soup through a fine sieve before serving. - Submerge the filter bags around the boiling area during cooking to release the flavour.
