Originally a Malay dish, this curry vegetable stew is now enjoyed by the different races of Singapore. Traditionally sold and served in the old-style coffee shops by Malays in Singapore, this dish is favoured for its simple yet delicious mix of vegetables such as cabbage, long beans and carrots cooked in a rich coconut and spice gravy.

Steps
- 1. Add Sayur Lodeh Paste into 350 ml of water. Stir well and bring to boil.
- 2. Add all vegetables. Cover pot and bring to boil.
- 3. In a separate bowl, stir Sayur Lodeh Premix into 65 ml of warm water. Stir and mix well. Set aside.
- 4. When vegetables are tender, add Sayur Lodeh Premix mixture. Mix well, cover pot and bring to boil. Lower fire and simmer for another 10 mins.
- 5. Serve immediately. Top with desired amount of Sambal Chilli.
- Note: For best eating quality, leave Sayur Lodeh in the pot, partially covered for 15 mins. Before serving, reheat Sayur Lodeh till just boiling.

- - Use other vegetables such as broccoli, french beans, green beans, potatoes, celery as desired.
- - Serve with Malay rice cake (Lontong).
- STORAGE
- Store in cool, dry place. After opening, keep pack refrigerated and use within 3 days.
